Kaleab Maru is a law graduate from Addis Ababa University, School of Law. He served as a legal assistant and law clerk at CTLO and KKTY, where he gained valuable experience by preparing legal documentation and providing counseling for clients, and he also appeared in cases as a legal associate at all federal and city court benches.
